Presentations BCLA conference

On June 9, 10 and 11 the Clinical Conference & Exhibition takes place in Manchester. This event has been organized by the BCLA (the British Contact Lens Association). Contact lens specialists from all over the world will gather in Manchester to expand their knowledge and skills. Among the many speakers are Gregory Sawyer, Krupa Patel, Brian Tompkins, Philip Morgan and Karin van Hees-Teuben. Visser Contactlenzen has added a contribution to this conference as well. Nienke Miltenburg-Soeters and Karolien Elving-Kokke have both registered a scientific poster, with the titels ‘Scleral lens trends in the Netherlands’ and ‘Scleral lens wear while deep-sea (SCUBA) diving’ respectively. On Friday June 9 optometrist Dieuwke van de Wiel-van Ooik will present her paper with the titel ‘Scleral lenses for visual rehabilitation and improvement of subjective symptoms in Salzmann Nodular Degeneration’.
