Visser Service subscription
With a Visser Service Subscription, you benefit from unlimited purchases of services and attractive discounts on your solutions and lenses by paying a fixed amount per month. As of 1 March 2023, the prices of some subscriptions have increased. Soft lenses
Standard
For non-daily wear of lenses
- Unlimited contact lens-related eye care (check-ups and fittings)
- 40 – 60 % discount on the purchase of new lenses for replacement
- 10 – 20 % discount on solutions and accessories
- Semi-annual check-up, but lenses are only ordered when you specify

Daily use
For daily wear of lenses
- Unlimited contact lens-related eye care (check-ups and fittings)
- Including purchase of new lenses*
- 10 – 20 % discount on solutions and accessories
- After your semi-annual check-up, the lenses will be ordered for replacement
*12 pairs of monthly lenses, 24 pairs of biweekly lenses or 365 pairs of daily lenses per year. If you want to purchase more than the standard quantity of lenses, you will receive a 40-60% discount.

Other subscriptions
We use a separate subscription form for night lenses. Information on this can be found on the page about night lenses. Do you have contact lenses on medical grounds? Then you can take out a medical subscription. You will then no longer have to pay for check-ups separately and will receive a discount on solution. For a medical subscription, you pay € 7,05 per month via a recurring SEPA direct debit.
Frequently asked questions
Almost anyone can wear contact lenses, from young children to people who have already reached old age. There are so many different types of lenses that even the most ‘difficult’ eyes can often tolerate them. Some eye problems – ‘medical grounds’ – can also be corrected with lenses alone. It is important that someone can take good care of the lenses. Even if you have tried lenses before but could not get used to them, that doesn’t mean there are no options for you at all. A lot has changed in recent years. Feel free to come and talk about it.
In the past year, suppliers of contact lenses and contact lens solutions have had to deal with a significant increase in production costs. Besides inflation, more expensive raw materials and higher staff costs, legal regulations have also led to a significant increase in prices. This effect is greatest with rigid lenses and non-silicone soft lenses. Visser Contactlenzen is forced to partly pass on this increase in subscriptions, which is why some subscriptions have increased in price as of 1 March 2023. Below is an overview of the service subscriptions that are going up in price:
VSB-subscription with silicone hydrogel lenses: + € 0,25 per month
VSB-subscription with conventional and advanced lenses: + € 0,50 per month
VSD-subscription: + € 0,50 per month
FreeView (night lenses) subscription: + € 0,50 per month
Medical subscription: + € 0,15 per month
This isn’t possible just yet. We are working hard to make it possible in the near future.
To answer this, we would first have to look at your eyes and measure them to see what your options are. The main difference between rigid lenses and soft lenses is that rigid lenses last longer and soft lenses are easier to get used to. We can only assess which lenses we consider most suitable for your eyes after the measurements and during the test fitting.
Due to the increase in costs from our suppliers due to inflation, we have unfortunately been forced to increase subscription prices. While we always try to keep costs as low as possible for our clients, these increases are necessary to continue to provide the quality and service you have come to expect from us.
The increase was announced on the website three months before it took effect. We also notified an additional line in the April bank statement.
We realize that there is a greater need for communication. In the coming year, we will improve this so that everyone knows clearly when the price changes.
