Other subscriptions

Subscription for night lenses (FreeView)

With night lenses (also called FreeView lenses), you always pay for the fitting process first (see Rates without Visser Service subscription).

  • Re-fitting: For people who already wear night lenses.
  • New fitting: for people who do not yet wear night contact lenses. You will be instructed how to insert, remove and maintain the lenses.

After the fitting procedure, you subscribe to a Visser Service subscription. This subscription includes all checks and most other services (free of charge, see Rates with Visser Service subscription). Night lenses are offered in a subscription form as standard. For FreeView lenses, you pay a deposit of €75 per lens. This deposit is refunded as soon as the lenses are returned, regardless of their condition, provided this is done within three months of termination of the subscription.

You wear night lenses in a subscription from €38,45 per month. The amount includes checks (every 6 months for adults and every 3 months for clients under 18) and new lenses every year.
Are you younger than 22? Then you will receive a €5 discount on the monthly amount.

Medical subscription

Do you have contact lenses on medical grounds? Then you can take out a medical subscription. You no longer have to pay for the check-ups separately and you get a discount on the solutions. For a medical subscription, you will pay €7,60 per month via a continuous SEPA direct debit.

General Terms and Conditions Visser Service Subscription

Prices and discounts

1. You pay the prices and receive the discounts associated with your Visser Service Subscription.
These can be found on our website under ‘Contact Lenses > Visser Service Subscription’. We reserve the right to change prices. Price changes will be posted on our website three calendar months before the effective date.
2. Clients up to the age of 21 receive a €5 discount on their VSB or VSD subscription every month.
This discount applies to the normal price of the subscription. The discount ends automatically in the month the client turns 22. From that month onwards, the client pays the normal price of the subscription.

Payment

3. You pay for your subscription every month. We automatically debit the amount from your bank account on the
first day of the month.
If you fail to pay three times, we may terminate your subscription and send you an invoice for the outstanding amount. If we have to engage another company (collection agency) because you have not paid, you will incur additional costs. For future products and services, you will pay the normal price.

Term and cancellation

4. You take out your subscription for 12 calendar months with automatic
renewal.
It is therefore not possible to cancel your subscription prematurely. At the end of these 12 calendar months, your subscription will be automatically renewed for an indefinite period.
5. After 12 calendar months, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You have a notice period of one calendar month. Cancellation is only possible in writing. This can be done using the cancellation form or at one of our branches.
The cancellation form can be found on our website under the heading ‘Contact’. You can also cancel your subscription in writing at one of our branches. We will record your cancellation there and give you a confirmation. You pay for your lenses retrospectively through your subscription. If we receive your cancellation while you have not yet paid for all the lenses you have received, you will still have to pay one or more months’ subscription fee to settle your lenses.

Ordering new lenses

6. You are responsible for ensuring that your new lenses are ordered on time. Your lenses will be ordered after your check-up appointment.
During your appointment, the specialist will tell you when to come back for a check-up. For soft lenses, this is usually every six months. For rigid lenses, this is usually every year. We recommend that you schedule an appointment at least two months in advance. We advise you to schedule an appointment at least two months in advance. You can do this by calling us at 088 900 80 80 or via the invitation you will receive by email.

Frequently asked questions

  • Almost anyone can wear contact lenses, from young children to people who have already reached old age. There are so many different types of lenses that even the most ‘difficult’ eyes can often tolerate them. Some eye problems – ‘medical grounds’ – can also be corrected with lenses alone. It is important that someone can take good care of the lenses. Even if you have tried lenses before but could not get used to them, that doesn’t mean there are no options for you at all. A lot has changed in recent years. Feel free to come and talk about it.

  • This isn’t possible just yet. We are working hard to make it possible in the near future.

  • To answer this, we would first have to look at your eyes and measure them to see what your options are. The main difference between rigid lenses and soft lenses is that rigid lenses last longer and soft lenses are easier to get used to. We can only assess which lenses we consider most suitable for your eyes after the measurements and during the test fitting.
